Willow And Sage Massage And Wellness
What to Expect at Willow & Sage Massage & Wellness
Before Your Massage
Our goal is for your session to be relaxing, comfortable, and effective. To help with that:
Hydrate well before your appointment — water supports better results.
Give yourself plenty of time to arrive relaxed — coming rushed can make it harder to unwind.
If you’re sick, have fever, skin irritations, or are adjusting medications, please reschedule for a safer, better experience.
When you arrive, we’ll go over a brief intake to understand your goals, any health history, and what areas you’d like worked on so we can tailor your session to you.
During Your Session
Massage is a collaborative experience — your comfort matters:
You’ll be asked to undress to your comfort level and lie on the table, covered by a sheet or towel. Only the area being worked on will be exposed.
If at any time you’re too warm/cold, the pressure is too deep/light, or you want more/less coverage, just tell me — your comfort guides the session.
You can choose music or silence, and you’re welcome to speak up or relax quietly — whatever feels best for you.
After Your Massage
You may feel lighter, relaxed, or even more aware of tension release — these are all normal reactions as your body settles into balance. Many people feel benefits immediately, while others notice deeper effects over the next day.
We often recommend drinking extra water and gently moving your body (walking, stretching) post‑session to support your results.
Your Comfort Comes First
At Willow & Sage, you’re always in the driver’s seat of your session.
You can:
Ask for pressure adjustments
Request more or less time in certain areas
Tell us if something doesn’t feel right
Change your comfort level with draping at any time
We aim to make your experience restful, effective, and uniquely yours.
